Therapy Yoga – hahaha, of course I was gonna say that 😉 .. come to class and see if its for you 😀

Brown Rice – wholegrain complex carbohydrate, CRUCIAL for our ability to generate ENERGY, which is required for LIFE as humans. Every single function that the body performs needs energy: breathing, moving, digesting, circulating blood, responding to events, thinking, sleeping (truly, we need energy to sleep: this is when the body does its deep healing/cleansing work, it needs energy to do this work) and so many other things ! Combined with chewing well, it also improves small intestine digestive fire (which is the same as improving our core lower belly strength), and provides B Group Vitamins for large intestine absorption of minerals. Up to 3 x a day while healing; daily or 3-4 times a week once well. 1 measure of rice to 2 measures of water and some sea salt, cooks in 40 minutes. Especially yum with Miso Soup and Gomasio (see below).

(Other wholegrains are fantastic too! Barley, Wholewheat, Oats Groats, Rolled Oats, Millet, Quinoa, Buckwheat – play with them all, how do they have you feel .. ?)

Miso Soup – cultivates and then maintains healthy gut flora; and a source of plant protein. Every day while healing, 1-4 times a week once well.

Gomasio – improves general blood health, blood circulation, kidney/spine/bone/nervous system health .. by increasing the body’s mineral stores (especially Calcium). Daily with Brown Rice while healing and as often as you want when well (your body will tell you when you don’t want it any more). Sprinkle on food, have it as a tea (1 tsp to 1 cup of hot water) or eat it by the spoon full 🙂 .

Ginger Compress – a remedy for aches and pains and bruises using fresh ginger and heat. This remedy brings relief and kickstarts our bodies’ own healing abilities. Use up to 3 x a day until well.
